This concept was actually initially inspired by a project my parents are working on. They’re finishing up the basement in their home on the Vineyard. I decided to help them with most of it, including the bathroom right off the bedroom. The overall look is definitely very coastal. Shiplap walls make up the entire basement with a few of these sconces from Serena & Lily. I decided to just do accent walls of shiplap in the bedroom and bathroom to break it up. For the bathroom, I knew the Fallbrook print from S&L would be the wallpaper. This print was what lead the rest of the design. Although aspects of the design have since changed, I still love this concept for a bathroom by the water. The mirror is also from Serena & Lily and looks great with the sconces I sourced from McGee & Co. For the floor tile, I went with a marble hexagon tile. When I came across this fun light blue hex tile, I thought it would be neat to randomly incorporate them into the floor. It just adds a pop of color but still keeps it looking very fresh and clean. All of the bathroom accessories are from McGee & Co! If you’re not familiar with their site, definitely go take a look. They offer everything from furniture, lighting, rugs and decorative accessories.
What is your favorite part of this bathroom?!
