Happy Friday! Yesterdays snow day was so enjoyable and necessary. It’s always a good day when you wake up to a group work text saying ‘happy snow day’. I read a few of my favorite design books with coffee in hand and finished this e-design I’m sharing with you all today!
So, about this little room. I wanted to create a space that was fun and girly, with a modern, bohemian vibe. How did I do?! I started this one with the bed and paint color. Once I selected those elements, I knew I wanted to incorporate soft shades of blue, purple and green to complete my color palette. I found this cute, modern dresser from Made Goods and then came across the art on McGee & Co. and knew they were the perfect match! From there, I went to the bedding. I wanted to select something that was subtle but still had a little pattern. I found this blush pink linen duvet and tribal printed sheeting from Urban Home. Lastly, the rug! I had a few other options before I finally settled on this simple antique indian dhurrie from Madeline Weinrib. I think it definitely ties in all of the colors and isn’t too loud next to the bed and bedding. What is your favorite aspect of this room?! As always, all items are sourced below.
