Serena & Lily Product Collaboration

Good morning, friends! I’m really excited about today’s post because it involves a good blogging friend / coworker of mine. Annie, who writes the blog, Most Lovely Things, and who I’ve introduced on here previously, is super talented and I’m so excited to be collaborating with her. With the launch of the new Serena & Lily Fall product, we thought it seemed like a fitting time to style an item from the new collection! We decided on designing an e-board around the same product to show the many ways you can style it.

We decided on using the Barton L-Shape Sectional as our S&L item of choice, using different fabrics of course. Prior to the Fall launch, this style only came in a sofa. We also have plently of new fabrics to chose from, including our Perennial line, which is the most durable option (it’s solution dyed acrylic … AKA anything comes out of it). As you can see below, my design board has a very simple, boho chic feel to it. I used a mix of products but kept it simple, with neutral tones and subtle pops of color. How fun is the Anthro uphosltered chair with birds on it?It’s a great piece because it brings in color but also because the print is so fun and whimsical. Annie kept her designs pretty neutral as well while just using a darker color palette. I love her pillow combinations and use of the new S&L Jenner rug, which is pretty amazing. We have it displayed in the design shop and it is probably one of our most talked about rugs. It’s textural, neutral and all around fabulous!

P.S. You should head over to Annie’s blog to see what she thinks of the new S&L Fall Collection and read about her design thought process! Also, follow her on instagram. You’ll be happy you did.
